College admissions decision software for counselors and schools. Instead of estimating one school at a time, it analyses a student’s entire application portfolio — the list, the Early Decision choice, and the institution-specific factors behind each — as one set of connected decisions.

Most admissions tools answer: “What are this student’s chances at this college?”
We answer: “How should this student’s entire application portfolio be constructed?”
Admissions data is fragmented across public disclosures, common data sets, and institutional reporting, and it is almost always consumed one school at a time. But a student applies as a portfolio: the schools, the Early Decision choice, and the balance of reach and likely admits interact with one another. Treating that as a single decision problem is the premise of everything we build.

Today’s model uses public admissions data and research-based priors. The production architecture is designed to calibrate models on anonymized student → application → outcome data contributed by participating schools and IECs. The current system is a research-based prototype, not a validated production model.

Where the software came from
Nadia Moore Academic Advisory began, and continues to operate, as a selective four-year academic and admissions advisory for families in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. That practice is where the software came from. Building four-year plans one family at a time surfaced the same recurring problem: the decisions that mattered most — which schools belong on a list together, where the binding Early Decision application should go, how a student’s profile interacts with a specific institution’s priorities — were being made from fragmented public data and professional intuition, one school at a time.
The quantitative decision-support system was built internally to structure that work. It is now being developed into software for independent educational consultants and schools. The family advisory practice remains the originating operating practice and the environment in which the modeling work is exercised.
The platform is built and led by founder Aidan Romeo.
